Assistant Project Manager, technical planning of overhead line construction
Responsibilities:

  • Technical coordination of the line construction issues with the client
  • Coordination & quality management in the planning stage with team and project manager
  • Interface management and coordination for tasks in the “Design and Construction” and “Approvals” from the client
  • Preparation and updating of bill of materials
  • Supporting the commercial project manager for cost controlling

Qualifications:

  • Technical (construction, electrical or mechanical engineering) or commercial (business administration) degree.
  • Alternatively, technical, or commercial vocational training with appropriate professional experience in the field of overhead line construction
  • Experience in plant construction or power transmission and distribution
  • Knowledge of web-based Project
  • Collaboration & Document Management Systems (DMS) e.g. thinkproject, PKM, EPLASS, etc.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and with excellent communication skills
  • PMP certification is an advantage
  • Team player who enjoys working in a multinational environment
  • Fluency in English (German/Dutch is an advantage!)
  • Willingness to travel as required for projects from time to time
